不夜城新宿を舞う一匹の蝶を追いかけた末、真夏の日差しが残る９月の宮古島へ降り立った。

キビ農家のおばあや子供たちと舞う蝶を追いかけ島のあちこちをさまよいレンズを向けているうち、

今は亡き蝶の父親の視線がシンクロしていた。

After chasing a butterfly, dancing in the sleepless city of Shinjuku, I set my footon Miyako-Island. It was September and a hint of mid-summer was still remaining in the sunlight.

I was chasing the dancing butterflies with grandma and children at sugarcane farm and as I was pointing my lens at various parts of the island, I found that the eye of the butterfly's deceased father was in sync with mine.
