バター茶を囲んでたくさんのチベット人とチベットの時間を過ごす。素朴な笑顔、優しく迎えてくれる場所、そこにしかない日常。次から次へと出会いが私の中をゆっくり通り過ぎる。まさに、それが私を「旅をしているなぁ」と実感させてくれる。その出会いを記憶に残そうと私はカメラを持っていたのかもしれない。でも、カメラを覗くとそこは期待とは違う不思議な緊張感が存在していた。私は非日常から来た異質なものとしてみられている事に気づく。家族友人、居心地のいい場所、毎日の生活。私はそこから抜け出した旅行者であるということに実感させられる。旅をするということはその張りつめた出会いの連続なのだろう。
Surrounding around butter tea, I spend Tibetan timewith lots of Tibetan people. Simple smiles, kind and welcoming place,daily routine that can only exist in this place. Encounters one after another slowly pass by inside ofme. This makes me feel that "I am actuallytraveling." Maybe I brought the camera, so that I can record thoseencounters. But when I looked through my camera, what I found wasthis strange tension, which was not something I was expecting. I realized that I was seen as something abnormalthat came from outside of their ordinary life. Family, friends, comfy places, daily living. I come to realize that I am a traveler who hasescaped from what is normal. To travel is perhaps just a series of intense encounters.
